Shot Size Question

I plan on shooting Hevi-Shot in 1 7/8 load, 3.5" shells through my Benelli Nova, using, as recommended to me by someone who has patterned these loads through this gun, a factory Modified choke. I just have not settled on shot size. Not just as to Hevi Shot, but for turkey loads in general, what are the pros and cons of 4' s vs. 6' s. I have historically shot 4' s, but some friends recommended 6' s. How much knock down punch do you give up moving from 4' s to 6' s and is it worth the extra number of pellets? I know this is a Ford v. Chevy, Bud v. Miller, Snickers v. Butterfinger question, but observations are apprecitated.

If you are going to shot Hevi Shot I would recomend using the #6' s. From what I have read the #6 Hevi Shot has more energy than a #6 lead shot. I have been shooting the Rem Hevi Shot and I use the #5' s...

Even thought I haven' t used Hevi-Shot, I would recomend using #6' s over #4' s just for the reason of putting more pellets out there in the pattern. It only takes one well placed pellet to immobilize a bird, and I would prefer to increase those odds with a greater pellet amount.
