Ok Ma,

Here's a 3rd reply. Just superglue a different feather where you want the tat. Change them as the glue wears off. Now ain't that some what intelligent. A new feather every few days and a different look. Saves the pain, money, and time.

What species for the tail feather? I like the wing myself. (in black and white) Get some drawn up by your tattoo artist and then decide.
You may be able to add some stuff later to the tail feather. You ever seen a painting on a tail feather? Thats what I mean. Just a thought.

Tail feather might be too dark.........

Breat feather might be a little dark as well,but depending on how the colors blend..........

Wing feather might be the simplest along with your user name!!!!!
