Wait a minute!!!!Ken lookin at this board I dont know if you really have a friend!!!!
....all kidden aside I do agree with SC,He makes a very good point if your shootin birds at extended ranges than some time,$,and effort will need to be spent on your own personal firearm in preparing it to shoot past 30 to 35 yards.Looks like the guys have given you some expereinced advice, but these combos still need to triedwhen applied.Personally like Swamper, I dont care to drop the hammer and hope on birds at extended ranges, but prefer toshoot under 40.Because of that I dontneccassarily needto spend extra $ in that general direction, but rather towards camo, calls, etc,as well as my lease and travel $..

Yeah, I don't really want a gun that will shoot to 60 yards or more. I would like to get a decent40 yard pattern but beyond that I may as well just use a rifle (legal here).
I just want to hear real world info in hopes to try to narrow down the vast number of tubes and ammo combos that are available. There are always some that will tend to perform in a higher percentage of guns than others will. I am definetly going out to pattern anythingI try before the season starts though.

That should narrow it down a bit. Most of those chokes do shoot lead very decently as well. If you are just going to shoot lead... then look for a strictly lead choke tube. Hope that helps a little bit narrowing it down!
