For a production call the quaker boy boat paddles are tough to beat.

Theres a bunch of great custom boat paddles out there. I always have a widowmaker in my vest. They are made by Craig King of Canisteo NY. Excellent call that has definately made the difference on more than one hunt.I can tell you I will always have one of his calls in my vest they are simply that good at getting a bird to gobble.

Another noteable that isnt very well known is Tony Reynolds of upstate SC. His boxes are about as sweet as they get with excellent artwork and high quality craftsmanship.I recently saw one on ebay going for over a 100 bucks so apparrently some folks are starting to take notice.

Ron Clough of Close Calls makes a real nice paddle call called the Carolina Bobcat. His calls are generally all well above average for a custom call and some of them are superb. He has some super artwork on his calls.

Thanks Brokenbucket. I was not aware Paul Albert makes boat paddles. I have one of his calls also. I will see him at the harrisburg Sport show this year. I will check it out. Thanks again.

I would also recommend the field grade boat paddle from Quaker Boy. www.quakerboygamecalls.com
