Gear, Calls, Vest, Guns, Decoys
What new gear are you looking to use in the woods this Spring? Anything Calls, Strikers, Decoys, Guns, Ammo, Vest, Camo ALL GEAR. If you are using a new slingshot for this upcomming season lets hear about it.

All set gun, camo, calls, vest, seat, and decoy wise. Shell and choke wise I'm still looking for the "Holy Grail"!!! Hopefully this spring, with some new Nitro shells and possibly a new Rhino choke tube in the mix, my quest for the "ultimate" package will be complete!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Like Maytom, I've got some Nitro shells to try from last spring. Got a new Simmons Red Dot scope I'm going to try also. Picked up some of the Lynch box call chalk the other day, hadn't seen it before. That's it so far but I'm sure there will be others!!

Well I have one that I have forgotten to list: I have a new Turkey hunting, but old hunting spot. I recently rediscovered the place I learned to deer hunt last weekend and after 20 years, followed the rocky washout to the end. While walking the washout I discovered such outstanding funnels, the washout is 40 yards across with water running down the mountain through the rocks although you can't see the water. When you stand on the rocks you can hear the rushing water. On both sides of the washout are ridges that are 50 yards or so across and 50 feet or so higher in elevation and then the mountain climbs to higher elevation about 160 feet more.

A new box call, two new friction calls (Cane Creek glass and Slate) and some new camo. I'll probably pick up a few new mouth calls to play with before season starts. Always searching for the "perfect" call you know.

I'll add at least one more custom glass call and probably a custom box. I'm seriously considering a red dot sight of some kind, possibly Burris or Bushnell. Maybe some new Feather Flex decoys, my old fleet is looking pretty bad.
I'm sticking with my Remington 870 Super Mag. With the Truglo choke and Winchester high velocity 3" #5's, that things a killer.
