I myself was just at Bass pro and Gander looking for decoy sales, no luck but a dozen teal fit under my arm very nicely. You can't go wrong with mallard decoys as E. Owens stated. It sure seems like a long way till this years duck season is here.

You get what you pay for but it is especially true when it come to decoys. With calls one doesn't need to spend alot of money to have a good one for hunting. WingLock call are one of the best for ducks and my personal preference in canada goose call is Faulks. They sell for about $20 and $7 respectively.
In decoys G&H or Herters are the low end. Stay away from Carry Lite and Flambaue decoys. If you're limited to only a few decoys here in the northeast I prefer blacks over mallards ,but thats in this neck of the woods.
