I think it depends a lot on the folage(spelling) and the terrain.. I hunt in the mountains of western Md and the woods i hunt are pretty wide open, so its hard to sneek to within a 100 yards of a roosted gobbler. I usually make my move after he has hit the ground <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
