I had a doe come running from behind me tonight and come to a screeching halt right next to me and we both just looked at eachother for a few seconds before she lit out like her tail was on fire. I usually hunt from a stand but was on the ground tonight in some thick scrub by the corner of a field. I wish I had reached out and grabbed a handful of fur. She was that close! Nothing like being eyeball to eyeball, it was cool!

Wow, that is close!! Bet that got the blood pumping a little bit.
