Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Hey MA Hunter, I live in a small town in Northern New York called Harrisville its about 2 hours north of Syracuse and 40 north of Watertown. I hunt mainly in the town over from mine about 15 miles on a farm of about 1000 acres, mostly hay fields and alfalpha and clover. There is some hardwoods and Hemlock stands around, but I try to focus on the pastures and field edges. There are quite a few birds, but not alot of hunters up here get out enough. Well, to all, good hunting and shoot straight!

Checking in again. My aplogies for the lack of activity. This engineering thing is killing me and my free time. Season comes in one week before school is out, so I will only be missing one week. That gives me 5 more to kill a bird. Good luck to you all.

Really nice bird, TN - way to go.

Still have gotten an estimated shipping date on the stickers, fellas, but the order is in. Hopefully they'll get here sooner than later.

Jeff - We'll get out one morning this spring - even if it's before I go into work. (9-5).

Hey boys, I went out this morning to haul the plows up to the field where my grampa and I are putting in a 1/2 acre food plot and spotted the tom I talked about earlier. His beard is dragging on the ground and he has some nice hooks on the back of his feet. His fan is missing one primary feather so I fugure he was roughed up by a coyote or another bird. It seems he is the boss gobbler or the dominate bird in the group as he has already formed his harem. There are some other toms I have confirmed to be living on the farm, and found the roost tree. It is T-minus 26 days to season opens so I am getting pumped and my ol' girl (11-87 Supermag) is ready to do some talking. Good luck. Straight shootin'!!!!!!
