Are any of you 1300 shooters bummed out that Win will stop production of their pump shotgun at the end of this month? I just scored the first spring gobbler with my new turkey buster,NWTF Buck &Tom 1300.

I'm shocked as well. This has been one of my personal favorite shotguns for years!!!! I can see their lever guns dropping down in popularity, but the Model 70 & 1300 have been selling quite well I would of thought?[:-]

Just wait , I bet we will see production started up for the lever guns and the 70 at least and maybe the 1300 again .
But probely in a modern plant , with lower paid employes .
I was told that they didn't use moderen CNC machines .
Also many of the workers were aproching retirement .
With wages , benies and retirement cost the workers cost the company $60 a hour
With moderen CNC machines , a kid making $10 or less a hour fresh out of tec school can make a gun .
I have a 1200 and 2 70's , I hope they will return .
