If you were to buy only one slate call what would it be? What would it be made of? Ive heard glaas are good but I dont know much about these kind of calls yet. Im a diaphram user. Also What striker or set of strikers would you buy. Thanks

i agree with exactly what slee is sayin..you cant use a wooden striker when any of your calls get wet but with an acryllic or carbon striker nothin can stop you..and i beg to differ on the slate calls, it works the same way with them, if you use a carbon or acryllic on a slate when its wet works just as good when its dry..ive tested it time and time again. Its just the wooden strikers that crap out when wet.
