I use everything the bird has to offer. If I am not displaying the tail feathers or wings, I use the stronger feathers for my wood arrows that I shoot, and save the plastic fletching for my carbon arrows. The breast is deep fried, the legs are use for gravy or soup, the bones are grinded up for bone meal and applied to the soil, the spurs/beard are collected and display accordingly. The rest of the guts I use for coyote hunting if I am ambush calling, and the plume feathers I use to decorate everything from wreaths to christmas ornaments.

i save all mine and put the tail, spurs and beard on 1 display. i make my own display usingwood textured siding (comes in 4 x 8 sheets). very easy and looks like old wood.i've saved all the wing feathers and now i know what to do with them. i'm going to do a wreath with them. thanks for the idea

Spurs, tail fan, beard, use the wing feathers for fletching, send the other feathers for Zuni Indains, breast it out, take thigh and legs and wings, boil down for soup or bbq. Not much left when I am done! [8D]
