I have busted them off the roost before but it was by accident really gets em talking what do you all think is the best time A.m orP.M.? i would say P.M. that way that old tom would be lonely all night also I would do it in complete darkness

I like P:M also Ulti..in the spring lonely gobblers dont like sleepin by themselves after spending a whole day or longer with the ladies...

I heard it works good...But boy o boy....When i got turkeys around I wanna keep them there and keep trying...I cant chase em away lolOne day ill try it

i do a lot of fall hunting and the only way i've had success is by scattering them, doesn't matter when....off the roost in the morning is the best. it's a lot of fun to scatter a flock and within 30 minutes you'll have turkeys calling all around you. great practice on your calls too

nothing wrong with a scatter, what they do a lot in the fall..... you still got to call them back in or get close and call them off the roost! And I have to agree, shooting off the roost is verboden! [:@][8D]
