Our Black Hills Trip
Hello all,
Well Our Black Hills trip was a bust. No Gobblers for Us. It wasn't that we didn't have chances though. The weather was a bit cold from the start when we got there Monday morning the 2nd of May it was around 23 degrees. Gobbling activity was slow from the start but improved with each day and warmer temps. We each worked birds at one point or another, but found that often one courtesy Gobble was all you could get from the birds, as they all seemed henned up. Gobblers or not we all had a blast and enjoyed the country and each others company. We hope to make it back out there in the future.
