Transporting gear to the field

Hey guys,
Here's my dilemma. Last week I took all four of my cameras to set out, by myself. This was the first time I had set all four at once and I've got to tell you, this was a huge job. By the time you take the security boxes for the cameras, the locks, the python cables, the drill, the bucket of mineral attractant, the trimmers, and all the other little things you need, you have quite a load. I ended up putting most of it in a large satchel, that my wife uses for trips, and loaded it all on the deer cart and wheeled it out there, as it was just to heavy to carry for any distance. Does anyboby else have the same problem and what are some of the ways the rest of you accomplish this labor of love? You know us the addicts though, we'll go through anything just to get our fix.

Once a year I just drive around on my ATV. and drop off all of my 15 mineral blocks and then go back and put up my cams. And then move the cams thru out the summer and fall as needed.
I do not use security boxes, python cables etc. because they cost more than my camera's and it didnt stop thieves from stealing my cams when I did and just ended up being out of even more money.
Jim Cant wait to see all your pics thru out the year now that you finally got your cams out!!

Jim since were on the subject of security boxes and python cables please do me a favor and use larger dia. tree's to attach them on. It would only take some skum bag less than a minute to steal your cam using just a folding hand saw that we all use for hunting and cutting shooting lanes etc. Pike

Jim, thanks for all your work! I know everyone thoroughly enjoys your involvement on this forum. As for me, it's as simple as two cameras, 50 pounds of corn, a screwdriver and my Kawasaki 610 Mule.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I have always resisted getting an ATV but it seems that maybe the time has come. Let's see, if Iget an ATV I can carry more cameras. If I can put out more cameras, I can get more pictures. If I get more pictures, I can post more pictures thereby feeding my addiction! Oh ya, now I get it.

Well I could start by busting your chops about using your wife's "satchel" (note to self: satchel = a cool name for wife's "pocket book") Ha-ha!!!
Sorry Mr. Jim, I couldn't help myself...
I use a big backpack and it can be cumbersome with everything, but a "Man's gotta do what a Man's gotta do".
So call it a backpack, I will!
In the old days a nice jack-ass would be of some help!
Of course your thinking after my comments you could probably strap this stuff to my back, right??!! Ha-ha
