Default trail camera question..

I know you guys probably get this all the time, and probably am tired of this question.....but i will ask it none the less...

I am looking to get a trail camera, and i have no idea on what to get, or to even look for. I have 100 dollars to spend right now. I know that it is not alot, but i am looking for a first trail camera that i could put out on a small piece of land to see whats passing through. Any suggestions at all??? How are the wildview cameras compared to the moultrie cameras??

thanks

I bought a stealth cam at Dicks Sporting Goods and it has worked great. I think it was about $65.

Moultrie. I would never buy a 35, film is way to expensive. What you save on the camera you waste on the film. Moultrie makes a good camera with good trigger speed I don't care what the cuddle commercials say.

a while back wally world had a deal where you get like 10 rolls of kodak 400 for $6.97..baught a bunch of those...also, i use rechargable batteries and i do the "next day" pickup.....also, i don't run these year round...i start in about june or july and run until october...i leave them up until the film has all taken...remember here in CA no baiting or feeding of animals..so i could take 2 or 3 weeks before i get a full roll of film developed...plus, i don't always have all of them running...a while back when stealth was getting bad reviews and they came out with the new version of the 35mm...wally world put them on sale for $15 i believe...so i baught a lot......

I have a moultrie and love it. It takes a really nice picture and doesn't break the bank. The triggering time is a little slow (At least on the GameSpy that I have), but maybe they fixed that with the newer models. I only use the camera over a feeder, so a slower trigger doesn't really effect me much becuase the game stay around the feeder for a quite some time. This camera wouldn't work all that great if it was on a trail...

I bought the Moultrie Cablea's digital. I am very disappointed. I had a Stealth Cam 35mm before it was stolen by some but head. I loved the 35mm Stealth, it took great pics but was expensive to process. The Moultrie does not seem to give much performance from the 6v rechargeable battery. I started out usingthe battery from my motion duck decoy, but I soon got frustrated from it showing "low battery" just 1 day after being put in place. I purchased a new rechargeable battery from Cabela's, which was recommended for this cam and had the same results. Personally, I cannot recommend the Moultrie Cabela's model.
