There longer and wider then the G5's which you know I'm sure. The 125 grain screw in snuffers I shoot are 1 1/4 cutting diameter. The G5's are 1 1/8 I believe. I think these G5's are good looking heads. Only thing I don't like about them is that there to wide for the length and also I like the 1 1/4 diameter better then the 1 1/8 diameter. It has to be something with the design or steel or something.........it seems almost brainless to be able to sharpen them like that but man they just wouldn't shave hair. I would get the nicest cleanest polished bevels on them but they just weren't as sharp as I wanted.
I just can't bring myself to hunt with less than shaving sharp heads out of these lower KE set ups.

I've had better luck getting Snuffers sharp on a flat stone than G-5 Montecs. Neither is "shaving" sharp, but the Montec is way too hard in my opinion and just doesn't sharpen well.
I may try the file system for the Snuffers. They are my favorite of the 3 blade heads, anyway.
