Default RE: Shooting Form

I was taught a long time ago when i was a kid by an indian friend of my dads to slighly bend my knees twist the bow to about 85 to 80 degrees andcrack shoot! Dont know if its right but Ive been shooting my recurves and stick bows that way for 32 years.
That was the way I was taught too. When I was little, I shot mybows just like all the other kids in the neighborhood - they were Apaches and Comanches for the most part. Killed a lot of game shooting like that too, all the way through high school. Then I took an archery class in college and that's where I learned that good, upright, white man shooting. Nowadays, arthritis has my 'good form' screwed up so bad, I've been thinking about going back to the old way.
