That was the way I was taught too. When I was little, I shot mybows just like all the other kids in the neighborhood - they were Apaches and Comanches for the most part. Killed a lot of game shooting like that too, all the way through high school. Then I took an archery class in college and that's where I learned that good, upright, white man shooting. Nowadays, arthritis has my 'good form' screwed up so bad, I've been thinking about going back to the old way.
