recurve or longbow

Default recurve or longbow

I just broke my recurve and need to get a new bow in a hurry. I'm thinking of switching to a longbow but not sure. What do you all think? Will my arrow set up need to change if I keep the same draw weight? Length, tip weight, etc.
would I be making it needlessly more difficult when hunting season is only a few weeks away by switching to a longbow.

I found switching from longbow to recurve, same draw length, poundage and bow length, you need a pretty more significant spine for a recurve. Going to show very week reaction I bet.

What BigCountry said. Longbowsare pretty fussy. And require a properly spined and matched arrow.
