Now my take- 10 bows with issues isn't too shabby considering the amount of Bowtech shooters on this site.
I did shot & love the BowTech Liberty at a proshop. I just can't buy the bow knowing about the limb issues. I will give them a few years to get things right before I consider buying one.

I will admit there were some problems with the limbs on some of the 04 Bowtechs but IMO after having spent time in several different "Pro-Shops" I would be willing to bet that the majority of the problems were caused by improper pressing. Granted there were some limb pocket issues and probably some limb issues (which would be a Gordon issue that Bowtech takes credit for) but from what I have seen there appears to be a lot of improper pressing of these parallel limb design bows that has contributed greatly to this problem.

I will buy a Liberty after I figure the problems have been corrected? I wonder what percentage of cracked limbes are caused by the shooter/proshop doing something wrong?

Was it really a limb problem or a pocket or rocker problem?? Could have been all three but if the pockets were machined wrong, that would place uneven pressure on the limb,, where it could crack. You know that the pocket won't crack or break so the limb takes all the stress. If the rockers were uneven, you would have the same uneven pressure condition and again, the limb would be what fails. What ever the reason, the warranty was there and BowTech kept their word and did the right thing to keep the customer shooting
