Paper Tuning problems

I am getting about a 1/2 tail high and left tear. I tried moving the rest to the right, and my nocking point is 1/8" above center. I did the powder thing to check for clearence and all is well there.
What else am I missing? I can't figure it out.
Thanks guys.

sounds like it could be 3 things to me
1)an out of time single-cam
2) a torque problem (though your torque is probably consistent so the tear is as well).
3) Arrow spine is incorrect

Here are the rest of the details.
I shoot a solo cam. Gold tip 5575's at 28" with a 100gr point. My draw weight is 64lbs.
The Gold Tip charts indicate I am correctly spined with quite a bit of leadway each way.
Would changing my grip help it any?

For years I couldn't get anything but a high tear with ANY bow. Last year I switched to a Bowtech and my tears went away. I'm not saying Bowtech is any better than any other brand, but it did show me that it was the way I gripped the bow. Evidently the Bowtech grip just fit my hand better than the others had. I had tried moving my rest every direction possible, but I couldn't overcome the torque my hand put on the grip. Try experimenting with high, medium and low grips and see how it changes your tear.

The gold tips probably the problem. They aren't very stiff, where they got their name (55/75) I'll never know. They only have a .400 spine defection. That's not very stiff when you talk about 28" arrows and 64#. Try some beman 340's, your tears will go away. A left tear usually means a weak spine, in my experience. You could also try cutting down the gold tips. There is nothing wrong with gold tip quality, just that they aren't very stiff for their weight. If you can stiffen them up enough, go for it.
