The gold tips probably the problem. They aren't very stiff, where they got their name (55/75) I'll never know. They only have a .400 spine defection. That's not very stiff when you talk about 28" arrows and 64#. Try some beman 340's, your tears will go away. A left tear usually means a weak spine, in my experience. You could also try cutting down the gold tips. There is nothing wrong with gold tip quality, just that they aren't very stiff for their weight. If you can stiffen them up enough, go for it.
