Default havoc tech or cyber tech?

yesterday i did a little bow shooting. asked the dealer for a forgiving, shootable bow. one that he chose was the havoc. loved the feel of the bow. i was a little surprised by the speed from the bow(261@70# shooting a 450gr a/c/c) with the difference in brace height from the havoc at 7.5 and the cyber at 6.5, how much speed can i expect to pick up? and how much forgiveness would i have to give up for the extra speed?.

I think the quoted IBO for the Cybertech is only 8-9 more fps than the Havoctech. I think they'd both be equally forgiving. If you want more speed, dump the 100 grains on the arrow you were flinging and use cut on impact heads like Steelforce, you should pick up about 20 fps and zip through any deer on the planet....

The CyberTec with Versacam is only 4 fps faster than the HavocTec with Versacam. I had to choose between the 2 and I chose the CyberTec. Seemed a little more quieter and stable. If your only gonna be hunting I would choose the HavocTec. If your gonna be hunting and shooting some tournaments I would go with the CyberTec. Its a tough choice. Take your time and get what suits you best, not what everybody else tells you to get.

I have been going round and round with the same question! I started thinking I wanted Havoctech, but I want to excel in 3D also. Then I started to consider Cybertech. Now, I'm heavilly considering the Ultratech--38&quot;ata, 7&quot;brace height, 300fps with versacam (I think I like this cam best). I have not shot any of these bows yet, But I'm thinking Ultratech because of more ata, slightly larger brace height than Cybertech, I shoot fingers (but want to go release) not sure if I'll like release so I can play with draw length with the versacam. If I go Havoctech, I'll have to shoot release. Just trying to throw another into the mix!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I know what you're going through! billygoat, I'll throw another one into the mix for you- Hoyt Pro-Tec, 38&quot; ATA with XT2000 limbs and versacam, only 1oz heavier than an Ultra-Tec but has a 8.25&quot; brace height and still 292fps only 8fps slower than Ultra-Tec but 1.25&quot; taller brace height! HaHa one more for you to think about!

I have a Cybertech and I love it. Very very quiet and my first night shooting it indoors on a 300 league I shot 300/53x&quot;S not bad for a fast bow.I have ordered another with the flag on it.My Cybertech has the cc+ with xt 2000 limbs. If you can, try to shoot the cc+ cams. They shoot great!!!!!!
