replaced peep tubing and

I had the tubing break on my peep so i put a new peice on tonight and went to shoot and the bow was shooting 6inches low(dead center though).I know the tubing wasnt the exact same length so does that effect the peep alignment? I wasnt expecting it to change since all the tubing does it align it. Any ideas as to why it started grouping low? Nothing else was changed. I moved the sights and its back to shooting fine though

Is the peep tied in ? If not and if the tube was short , it could have pulled the the peep up or down , depending on where the other end is anchored .
Get rid of the tube peep .They break at the worst possible times and they are LOUD .

I would make sure your peep sight isn't moving. If it were to slide down slightly, it would lower the point of impact.
Another good ideayou may already know about..is
once you've fine tuned your setup, take some white out and mark reference points on your sight and rest adjustments.
