adjusting draw weights
I want to adjust the weight on my bow. Martin Jaguar 68lbs. As many of you may know by now I am having an extremely hard time getting by bh's to group well with my 4560 arrows. I have so many of those arrows I have decided to just turn the draw weight down. I was shooting excellent groups when I had it at 60 lbs. I will doing quite a bit of hunting this season. Is 60 lbs a good weight for whitetail hunting and if so is it true that each turn is roughly 2 to 3 lbs?

RE: adjusting draw weights
Yes 60lbs is more than addiquate for deer hunting. As a matter of fact I would say the good majority of hunters pull 60lbs give or take a few pounds. It depends on the bow but yes one full turn on each limb bolt should be close to 2 to 3 pounds.
