Thats 5.28gr per lb which is fine as the minimum limit is 5 gr per lb, this will give you more speed....Iprefer my hunting arrows around 7gr per lb.

My hunting arrows are 5 grains per lbs I shot a 70lbs bow with a 350 gr arrow I have never had a penetration problem I will except the speed versus the the weight for whitetail. I also hunt in Kansas and have never had a problem out to 40yds. Bear and elk I would go up in weight though.

Personally I do not like light weight arrows. The two bigggest concrns I have with light weight arrows is that theycreate unnecessary wear and tear on the bow and strings andthe bow is much louder than with a heavier arrow.

I will take a quiet bow over speed any day. There is a huge difference in sound betweentwo identical bows shooting with one shooting a 350 grian arrow and the other shooting a 450 - 500grain arrow.

If I were going after pronghorn antelope or plains mule deer I might opt for a lighter weight arrow.

Thats a very true statement bulls, I wanted to add the fact that different type BH's require more weight to work to the best of their ability. I shoot a chisel point mechanical with a large cutting swath of 2 1/2"thatI wouldn't trust a lightweight arrow to and it has always performed with that set up,I have seen guys use the same head as me that were running the lightweight arrows have zero penetration first hand...It is not a myth!!!
