Default Gain some speed

So I am looking to sell off my Tribute and pick up a General as my new hunting bow. I currently shoot My Tribute at 70 lbs and a 28" draw and a 350 gr arrow. With the General I will be losing a litlle speed 10-12 ft/s approx. Are there any tweaks I can make to the bow to gain some of this lost speed and energy?

Thanks.

In all consideration 10-12 fps is nothing I personally would not worry about it.

Ausie-guy,

I know that in the scheme of things it is really not that much but I do akot of moose / Elkhunting and I end up with alot of 40 yard shots so to me evry little bit of extra oomph I can get I want. So If you have any tips I would love to hear them. For deer all it is going to do is go through them a little faster.

Oomph comes from weight, not speed. However, if speed is important to you, take everything off the string - move silencers to within a few inches of the cams. Use a tied-on nock point, no peep. Make sure your center serving is as short as possible. It's not that difficult to remove 20-30 grains from the string on some setups. If you want to spend some money, have a custom string made that has a couple less strands than normal, use lower diameter serving (make sure arrow nocks don't fall off) and don't use a loop. Most people can use the next longer draw length module if they shoot off the string.

Just to be clear. I don't think any of this is a good thing to do when shooting at 5 grains/lb, unless you add this weight to the arrow, and when you add weight to an arrow, you have to make sure it's stiff enough to handle it.
