Sniper-
That all depends on the bow, your draw length and many other factors, give us more details......

PSEsniper, it will depend on the particular bow. My P38 dual cam would shoot a 375 gr arrow around 275 at 55#. Not many other bows will match that. It'll also depend on the single cam bow being compared. All things being equal, the dual cam will be faster. How much is hard to say. Other things make a dual cam a choice to be seriously considered.

It could go up or DOWN!!! not all 2 cam bows are all that fast. and not all solo cams are that slow.
There are quite a few solo cam bows that are VERY quick indeed (Bow tech for starters). basically, shoot what FEELS good. 1 or 2 cams doesn't matter that much.

Actualy most company's claim solo cam bow's are faster and if ya look at the top 10 fastest bow's I think all but atleast most are single cams. If you want a little more speed maybe lighten up your arrows if it's possible add a speed slide and you can also puchase a speed button that you place on your string. Fell free to e-mail me with detailes and I can help you I am pretty proficient with PSE bow's.

PSEsniper - The number of cams a bow has cannot be used as the determining factor of speed. I got into PSE bows in '93 and even after shooting others I have stayed with them. Had a twin cam that was screaming fast, now have a single cam that is a bit slower (4-5 fps).

It is all in the setup.
