Default G5 sight

I have a G5 sight mounted on my Archery Research AR31 bow. I just switched to carbon arrows and I am currently shooting about an inch low at twenty yards. The problem I have is that I'm out of vertical adjustment on the sight. I have the sight mounted in the lowest set of sight holes on the riser, and the sight cranked to the lowest setting. The second pin is on at twenty, but I can't get the top pin in any suggestions. Should I abandon the top pin or try another modification?

Is that the one you can flip over to gain more room?

I'm shooting off of memory here, I've only seen one G5 sight, but the pin housing itself could be flipped over, giving like.......3 more inches I believe......If you've already done that......Have you tuned your bow since changing to carbon?? Carbon is smaller diameter, and a rest adjustment may be needed.....Also, if you raiseyour anchor (ksser and/or peep) it will raise your point of impact a bit.....That may or may not be an option for you though...

I figured out that my anchor point was messed-up when I had the same problem you do. When I corrected that I've had plenty of adjustment. My problem was the peep was too low and when I moved it up a little problem solved.

Also, if you have the ME model you will want to set-up the adjustable bottom pin first. I made the mistake of ignoring the directions and set-up the top 3 and then found out my 50 yd+ adjustable pin wouldn't go up high enough.

This was my first thought, too. Your peep may be too low. Try adjusting it a little and see what happens. I had this same problem on my Mathews Outback and I adjusted peep up and things started working better.
