Default Meta Peep Turning

I have had a meta peep since they came out, I am shooting the 1/4" for my eveninghuntingand I have noticed that it keeps turning on me and I have to twist my string before shooting sometimes. Can anyone tell me what's up with that?

Thanks

Either keep turning the peep before you shoot or take the peep off and turn it 90 degrees then reserve.

It happens to everybody as their string ages/breaks in.

Good Luck.

You're shooting a Hoyt. There's yer problem. No, really. Stock Hoyt strings and cables just flat suck. They won't evercompletely settle in.Get some good aftermarket rigging and it'll stop that problem.

Agree completly with auther , its not the peeps problem its the string , get a quality string and cable , thats what you need to end rotation .

Hoyts specificaly , I had a cybertec , and it might of had 5 twists over the whole length of the string , total junk , It should have had like 50 .

I'll third that. Get some good after market strings and your problem will almost assuredly go away. Not picking or bashing but Hoyt has always made very good bows, but their strings just are not of the same quality as the bow.

A good string can be had from Gibblet here on this site and at a very reasonable price compared to generic ones.

if its doing the same thing every time - that's good. i'm happy to make some for you, but it sounds like either a half twist needs to be put in or taken out of what you have. you'll need a bowpress or access to one - and take the bottom of the string off, twist it half a turn in the direction the peep needs to go, and re-install it.
