Default Meta Peep

Is this thing really better than a regular peep? What's the deal with this?

The best peeps out there IMHO are the Tru-peep and the Meta Peep I have been using the Meta peep since they came out. They made a few changes to improve durability, but I never had any problems. They are lighter and I actually prefer the blue for the contrast in sighting. It's not like it's a huge investmentI have all sizes listed on my website for $10 TYD www.meanvarchery.com

what is the advantage of the Meta though?
Just the blue color? How do they make things faster?

They can increase speed, although minimally, because they are made of machined magnesium instead of aluminum. Although I have one I don't really see any advantage over the Fletcher except maybe 1-2 fps in speed. No big deal.

im really, really hoping that they made them better for 08. I'll post a pic of mine, its almost a complete oval. I love g5 products, but was let down with the meta. Loved it at first.

They have made changes. I have never had a problem with any of mine and I've had them on 6 or so bows. Just put one on my Airborne 82 last night. I don't tie closer than 1" to the peep though. At first I didn't think I would like the Blue color and even went as far as having a couple dipped, but I now like the contrast of the blue in my aiming process.

I am currently aiming through a shurz-a-peep, I ordered the metapeeps with Dan just to see if he's full of sh..... or not
because he keeps telling me they are one of the best....

My biggest issue will be if the edge of the metapeep is thick enough to give me a clear view without blurry edges....

We'll see, there on a plane right now heading to Belgium.

Frank.
