Default 06 Allegiance draw stop

I have a 06 Allegiance with a 27.5-inch draw. The mod is EMS 3.5B. Where should the draw stop be? When I bought the bow I felt a bit stretched out. I was trying a thumb trigger release for the first time. I told the tech and he just moved the peg. Well it got really close to the start of the league I am in, gave up on learning how to shoot with the new release and went back to my index release. I could not leave well enough alone and moved the peg again hoping to hit my anchor point a little better. I just want to know where this peg should be located. I am having a hard time getting comfortable with the new bow. I’ve been shoot well, but it just does not feel as comfortable as my other bow. If anyone is able to help with the placement I would really appreciate it. Oh yeah one more thing, I don’t even pretend to know a lot about setting up a bow. When you tell me where the stop should be I will need to know what part of the peg you are referring to, i.e. the center, front or rear.
Thanks a lot.
Mike

Your problem might be because you are adjusting the stop, because not only does it effect draw length, it also effects let off. Try changing mods instead of moving the stop.

Factory setting for the post on a27 1/2"mod on the '06 Ally is 3.5, taken from the center of the post. This is set by counting down from the top of the cam (on a right hand bow) to the middle of the draw stop screw head. The first line counts as #1 and each long line represents the whole numbers and the short lines represent the half numbers.

Greg
Thanks!I just adjusted the stop and drew it back. I hit the referance point I like. It was at the 4th line. Is it correct to assume that the 3.5 stammped into the mod is the correct setting for the pin?
thanks again
Mike

The 3.5 stamped in the module doesn't have anything to do with the draw stop mark. It's just coincidence that yours are the same.
