Default Cams Poping

When i go to pull my bow back my top limb's cam pops. I didn't notice this yesterday when i went to target pratice. Is this normal? If i was drawing back on a deer im pretty sure the deer could hear it pop. Theres alittle nob on my cam that hits the limb everytime i pull back. Like i said i never noticed the noise before. Could i put a piece of Mole Skin on the nob to quietin it down or should i take it to my proshop to let them look at it.

Sounds like you should have a bow technician take a look at that thing.

Check the screws that hold the draw length modules in place on both of the cams, they might have came loose.

The little nob your describing should have an o-ring washer around it.

If the draw-stop is popping when it hits the li8mb a little piece of moleskin stuck to the limb can help, but to my way of thinking it's also an indication that the draw weight is too high and you can't control the draw cycle of the bow. I know you probably don't want to hear it so just put a little tab of moleskin on the limb where the draw stop hits.

Take it in, it needs to be properly diagnosed, the last thing you want is somethign breaking at full draw. TAKE IT IN.

Thanks for the replys. Turns out the O-ring came off the knob on my cam. I found it in my Bow case and wondered what it was. Then i put it back in the slot and it sounded like normal
