How long should a string last on your Bow? # of Shots?
I had my bowrestrung last season probably put 500 - 750 shots thru it and I was out just now and aftera coupleshots with my new NAP 360 rest I see two strands of the string are broaken just above my peep site.
Is this common?
Do I have to get it restrung again?

Are you sure the strands weren't broken as a result of the peep sight itself or possibly the result of the installation of the peep? Being careful when burning the ends of the peep serving is a must. Even a small part of a string strand melted can result in broken strands after only a short period of shooting. On the other hand, if there is a sharp edge to the peep then that can cut the strands relatively quickly.
I can typically get at least 12 months of solid shooting out of my bows before a string change is warranted and not for separated strands.

I ran out and had it restrung this afternoon. Looking at it closer it looks like something cut two strands and a third about 1/4 of the way.
Could waste no time with the season opening on Saturday.
Fine tuning it is required tonight and Thursday night.

Take a good look at that peep and make sure that isn't what cut the string in the first place. It happend to me last year and took two strings before I saw it.
