What are the best string silencers to use? I have tried spiders and didnt notice much difference between them and nothing. Now I am using leetches and they seem to do a good job. What about cat whiskers? Also I am using limb saver ultras. My bow is an Alpine Archery Impact X-treme dual cam.

I've had the best luck w/ golf ball sized cat whiskers on my Bowtech Pro40 dually. The closer to the center of the string you place them.. the better they work... and the closer to the cams the less speed you lose.. but they aren't as effective.

My Golden Eagle came with a string stopper from the factory. The first one cracked after about 300 shots and they replaced it. The second one kept shooting the rubber stopper about five yards ahead of me, about every 10 shots. Annoying as hell.
I threw it in the trash and put on a pair of leeches. I like them a lot, they really quiet the bow down.
