I had Leeches on mine for a while. When they finally wore out, I bought a set of TRU-Ball Speed balls and used them alone. I not only could not detect any more noise than with the leeches, but I picked up 5 fps as well. TRU-Ball also makes a spider that has the speed ball in it as well as silencing spider legs--best of both worlds.

Leeches would be my first choice with wiskers right behind.

The Sims string leeches are great, easy to install and cheap.

Leeches for me too. I believe that they do slow down a bow a bit more than advertised, but who care. They silence the string great.

Viking, if you decide to go with the Sims string leeches, make sure you get the newer "improved" ones just coming out. I have not actually seen them (I have ordered some), but I understand they are much more durable.

Lilhunter,
I never liked the Beaver Furr much. I'm interested to know why you like it.
