String silencers.
#1

After going through two sets of string leeches on my new bow I decided, at the reading of other postings here, to try a set of cat wiskers. I use to use them years ago but like many others here have to try the latest thing.
Why did I ever quit using cat wiskers is beyond me? The bow is equally quiet as with the leeches and I will never have to replace those dang leech things again. I didn't loose any speed compared to the leeches either. Cat wiskers for me from now on.
Maybe I am just getting a little wiser as I get a little older but I am begining to realize that the latest and greatest isn't necessarily the greatest. Sometimes you find something that someone got right a long long time ago. Cat wiskers are one of them

I like cat whiskers-they last a long time, don't cost much. I started to try leeches a few months ago but have heard they don't last very long. Even the guy at the archery shop said so. That was good enough for me to stay with cat whiskers.
