I thought this was a GREAT idea to get all hunters involed in the study!
My son & I spent the day with Mr. Burton & his son and we had a great time, It gave us the opportunity to talk about the negative issues surrounding hound hunting,AND the positive things and reasonswhy hound hunting should continue in VA for future generations.
WHAT HAS VA Hunting Dog Alliance done for the houndsman to preserve our future?
And I'm not talking about trying to pay off politiciansOR spread FALSE personal attacks against people!
Derick,are you saying that you and VHDA are against spending time in the field with kids & people just because they don't have hounds themselves?
LETS SEE THOSE EDUCATIONAL METHODSVHDA KEEPS TALKING ABOUT!
IF I couldn't share my hounds & hunting traditions with others, I would just QUIT hunting all together!

I was personally told by one of the VHDA Board Members that a certain amount of money was offered to a board of supervisors campaign fund "IF they were going to" goalong with that ridiculous county resolution VHDA has been taking around!

By the way I also have an email that states VHDA was having to use there "Connections" to get this resolution passed,ThatfurtherPROVES It can't pass on it's own merit and without usingpeople VHDA has NOTHING!

Here's a trail cam pic from............. last week. Those "fox hounds" are chasing deer! LOL Why are deer dogs still running now? Just goes to show how far this has gone and how far it needs to go to be fixed.
Just educating deer on dogs and humans and what to do when they feel threatened. Too bad deer aren't as dumb as some of those feeding us those BS lies we read on here.
BTW this is the same tract I complained about to the game warden on dogs chasing deer during youth gobbler day 2 years ago. They're still at it over there.
