if you have any 220 canibears you just have to make a box open on one end put the bait in the back and the trap on the front and some sweet smellin lures

good luck

i made a wooden trap with a hingdoor so it could go in but not out but can they lift a door like that. i put honey bund and 4 cans of fish steaks but not sardines. i have had no luck yet. i also drilled lots of 1 inch holes in it the trap is 12x12 and 29 inches londg is that two small. one other problem is by dogs i have 11 of them and i think they are eating the bait out of it any suggestions?

that will work if you put a latch on the door,so they can't lift it. if it doesn't have a latch they can lift it and stick there nose under and they are gone.

when i was younger i made a few box traps out of wood and wire fencing ..... used nylon line and filed down nails for the trigger mechanism ..... and wire fencing for the back of the trap ...that way when the door was open (trap set) the wind could pass thru the trap to spread the scent ..... they worked ok ....but would be better if ya spent a few bucks and got ya sum good traps ...... they will more than pay for themselves
