its only red cause they cant see color you dont NEED it i use a regular spot light

its not that they cant see color its because the red light wont burn their eyes hence the reason they run when you hit them with a white light...also when you are making a pass with the light keep the yote near the edge of your light even with the red lens.

no me and my buddy just use a regular light and we saw 4 coyotes one time and they did not run,then we shot one with a 7mm magnum.

You don't really need the red light. White light works too, I've used both with good success.

As long as you're light isn't so bright you can see it from space it will work just fine.

a regular light will work but you dont want to hit the yote as soon as you turn it on, aim it above their heads and slowly( emphasis on slowly) bring it down onto them and keep them on the edge of the light, not the middle
