Coyote Hunting At Night
Do you really need a red light?
|
RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
its only red cause they cant see color you dont NEED it i use a regular spot light
|
RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
I also use a regular spot light when I need one
|
RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
me and my bro dont use them one time we saw 10 in one pack while we were sitting on the top of our roof
|
RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
its not that they cant see color its because the red light wont burn their eyes hence the reason they run when you hit them with a white light...also when you are making a pass with the light keep the yote near the edge of your light even with the red lens.

RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
no me and my buddy just use a regular light and we saw 4 coyotes one time and they did not run, then we shot one with a 7mm magnum.

RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
You don't really need the red light. White light works too, I've used both with good success.
As long as you're light isn't so bright you can see it from space it will work just fine. |
RE: Coyote Hunting At Night
a regular light will work but you dont want to hit the yote as soon as you turn it on, aim it above their heads and slowly( emphasis on slowly) bring it down onto them and keep them on the edge of the light, not the middle
