can u trap beaver using snares? do u have 2 drown them? any tips?

Sure you can use snares. I like the 330 conibears though. I like to look through the ice for bubble trails,break the ice near the bank where they go in and feel for a hole.If there is one,put the trap in there and wait. See if that doesn't catch a few.

Good idea DK I also set them at the runs into the lodges and I use sticks to form a funel to guide them towards the conibear. The trap is hung from a log that rests on the ice.

Snares can leave a ring on the hide where the snare was and this devalues the hide.
