We don" t have many fox left in Il. anymore, becouse of the coyotes, but when we use to ,there were alot. If your in the thick woods you"ll get greys, moreso than reds. the greys will come in fast, but not as fast as a red. the grey can come at you from a tree branch, or a creek bed. greys will go up into trees, beleve it or not. You can call constantly for fox, let the call run all the time. A fox will end up in your lap if your noy paying attention. Can be real fast action, call alot, be ready, look everywhere, hold on, and know where your buddy is.....have fun.

Well the rabbit is always a good one, but I would go with the bird sounds first I think. Woodpecker or the flicka, if you have the JS PM.

I call/shoot a lot of red/grey foxes here in VA and my favorite call is the rabbit in distress call. You can get them at your local hunting depot, Bass Pro, Cabelas, Gander Mtn., etc. They're cheap ~ 5-$10 so pick you up a few.
