I've found the same thing Yodel. I've got one farmer here who has just about givin me cart-blanche on his property. I found two calf kills, and let him know it, and asked if I could hunt coyotes, and the rest is history! I appreciate it, and so does he, and he's been really good to me. Take care Yodel !

Yeah , one hand washes the other in this dog eat dog world we live in. The E-caller is the best thing that ever happened to this great sport.

wasn't that snow great!! I went saturday morning also and the wind was rough here also,I had no luck either but it was worth going just to be outdoors, and you can never tell when ole wiley is going to grace you with his presence for a few seconds or the rest of his life, keep on calling it will get better this fall,I quit to let nature take it's course in april to september, but in september there is a lot of young ones that need education, and I've always loved to teach them, you'll have some fun with Mr. johnny stewart later this year.I dont know when crow season is in Alabama it's over here but it also starts in september and thats some fast wing shooting and all you have to do after you have called a spot out is to move 400-500 yards, find another spot to hide and start that crow come here call on the PM and the same crows that escaped the first sky-blasting session will usually come in for a second time and give you another chance to practice your wing shooting, and if it's legal in your state,I think they have turkey cards for it also, thats illegal here in ky,but you may be able to use it to call turkeys in your state,if you turkey hunt much you will eventually have a coyote come in to your turkey calling also I wont kill them then but they are fun to watch and they may attack your turkey decoy,I have seen this on video before it's cool.good luck!!

I know what you mean about the crow calling , fast and furious. In Illinois they put the crow on the migratory bird list, and cut the season by 100 days. I hunted crow twice this year, once nothing. The other time took 8 or 10 in december. piled"em up in a coyote spot, but never got back out till the next week end. The farmer said they were gone next morning.
