Need advice on hunting yotes.
I live and hunt in the mountains of SC. We have yotes everywhere. I've always seen people hunting them in big open areas but all we have are thick roads and hardwood ridges. The longest shot I would have would be 250 yards and thats only one spot. Any suggestions on where to start.

It sounds like a shotgun with buck shot would be a good choice for weapons, since it sounds like most of your shot opportunities will be in thick cover. If you've never called predators before, either buy a video and watch, listen, and learn how to do it or find someone in your area that knows how to do it already and go along a few times. the learning curve is greatly reduced by going with someone in your area that already knows how to do it.
