Default Coyote questions

Hello everyone,
im was wondering if a .270 is to big for coyotes. i know it will definately kill them but will there be anything left of them? ive never really gone coyote hunting but i have always wanted to. i hunt in sw wisconsin where there are a lot of coyotes and a lot of wide open fields, so if anyone has any open country farmland tips that would be appreciated. Also how hard is it to tan the hide or whatever needs to be done to sell them and does anyone know how much you can get for a coyote fur? well thats all so thanks for all your help.

.270 is fine. also just like deer hunting, try to set up down wind of where you think the coyote will be coming. every hour or so go set up at another part of the field. do not set up in the middle of the field set up on the side of it.
