my monster typical 10 pointer

i shot this buck on nov. 10th. while he was chasin a doe. had to sit and watch him for an hour and a half b4 i shot him at 22yrds. green scored 187 1/2. shot in peoria county

that deer is also on e-bay 4/sale. bid is up to $16,000.It is also the largest whited killed on video.

I know of this buck that was killed Oct. of 2005,grossed 242 6/8ths

I'm not a big user of decoys,but using a grunt call would be fine that time of year. Rattling is also ok. I have called bucks in with grunt calls as early as opening day, but I dont use an aggresive...

There are no more big bucks in Illinois. They all migrated to Iowa.All we have here are scrapheads and does.:D:D:D

wondering if anyone has been seeing any good signs of rutting goin on in central illinois? Been seeing bucks together,not much of chasing does though.Thought maybe this warm spell slowed them...
