Temps are finally coming down the last couple of days, now I have to deal with 20-25 mph wind gusts here in Baltimore.

RE: How many of you have killed a mature buck you rattled in?

I actually had a nice 8 pt. come in using a rattle bag and a small 6 pt. one other time. I only try the rattle bag when things are slow and i'm hoping to stir things up.

RE: Maryland!

Didn't the college professor say the season starts Friday? I think the prof needs to get a new fact checker. I know it happens but I have never seen a deer running around with an arrow sticking out...

RE: What would a decent hunter do?

I think i'm going to pass on that tree, any chance of confrontation isn't worth it. I'll find something else in the area.

RE: Let 'em go and let 'em grow!!!!!!!!!!!

I've decided for myself to pass on anything less than 8pts. this year. IMHO the thing that makes getting a nice size rack so great is that it shows the hunter has reached a certain level of skill,...

Need info on two different garmin products, the TOPO U.S. 2008 and the TOPO U.S. 24K. Anyone know which one would best suit my needs as a hunter in Maryland. They cost the same but the 24k has better...

Last Saturday saw three does being chased all over by a buck. Sunday watched to six pointers locked in combat for 15 minutes at only 5ft. Any one else think the show is starting?

Trying to decide between Diamond Liberty or Victory. My current bow is a PSE X-cellerator. Fairly new to bow hunting, only my second full season.
