re-chambering not good?

i heard that rechambering a rifle in a cartridge of .308 dia or over can harm the guns accuracy im not sure about this cause people do it all the time but what do you guys think...

oh and as to using the 243 my grandpa says in case i were to get excited and maybe miss then i dont have to worry about the bullet traveling a mile a killing someone and he dosent like lever guns...

im hoping 1shot1kill can help me out my grandpa wants to get me a chinese military cartridge to use instead of my 243 i forgot what the name of it is but he says its a about 150yards gun which shoots...

my question is: somewhere i read ther is no sense in owning a 300 winchester and a 7mm rem mag cause a 300 does all the 7mm's work and more

i dont think range should be an issue,you shouldnt be taking long shots on game these guns are intended for

just my opinion but if you wanted to use it for elk then sure no such thing as a deader...

i shoot quiet a bit mostly with a 22 win mag but i do shoot my 243 lots too i only shoot off a bench to check to see were the gun is shooting but everything eles is on my knee on the ground or...

hey guys thanks for the info i wont do this often in the field be cause i hunt fairly open areas with little bits of scrub he say its good for a quick shot on running game but i wont be doing any of...

ive never handled a browning but my sako is so nice realy smooth bolt cycle crisp trigger and now groups pretty good after i got the scope tuned...
